Name: Shadowfang
Age: 8 moons
Gender: Male
Rank: deputy
Clan: JaguarClan
Appearance: Shadowfang is black at first glance, but if you look closer, you can see flecks of gray and dark brown. These colors make him blend in with the shifting shadows. Another amazing thing for those who look very closely is that a gray patch on his forehead forms a star.An uneven stripe of darkest brown runs down his back, but as it was said, it is hardly distinguishable from the black. But he rarely lets anyone get close enough to see these features. He is slim and his fur is ragged, most often with bits of leaf or branch stuck in it.He is battle-scarred, but not heavily. His right ear has a v-shaped notch in it, and a scar runs down his left front leg. His left hind leg has a very slight limp from a poorly healed scar that crosses the tendon. He has cold blue eyes that seem bottomless, and able to detect lies at a glance. His blue eyes have flecks of a lighter blue that is almost white. He is larger than the average ShadowClan cat, but not huge, and extremely fast. His paws seem a bit too small for his body, but it doesn't seem to affect his fighting. His tail is about half as long as him, and unlike the rest of him, is pure black without a hint of any other color. He has a "kind and honest" sort of face that makes him seem like a good cat.
Personality: He truly cares about the Clan, and will break the warrior code or disobey the leader to do what he feels is best for the Clan. An excellent fighter, he rarely meets his match. He has a soft spot for kits, and a slight paranoina about greencough. He does not hesitate to give advice, and is slightly proud. He is a ruthless fighter, and believes that cats grow by being pushed to their limits.
History:ok, here it is. Shadowfang was born in a Twoleg nest. But as a young kit, he left, his adventurous spirit wanting more. He became a loner, traveling from place to place until he ran into the Clans. His heart told him this was what he was looking for and he joined JaguarClan.
Picture: If you have the URL of a picture of your cat, put it here. This is optional.
Roleplay Sample: Shadowfang and 5 ShadowClan warriors waited in an ambush. Besides Shadowfang, there was Wetfang, Raggedfur, Twistedclaw, Moonfur, and Shortleaf. "Where are they?" hissed Wetfang, a blue-gray tom. Twistedclaw, a brown shaggy warrior, added his voice."What if that rogue got it wrong? What is we're stuck here all day and night, and they never show?"LeopardClan had been scented on JagurClans territory, and a rogue cat named Sun had told them where the LeopardClan hunting parties always went. So Shadowfang, the deputy of JagurClan, had laid a trap for them. Shadowfang silenced the speaker with a dangerous glare. "Then you will endure it, and we will kill that rogue once we find him." he hissed. Just then, a LeopardClan party of 3 warriors and 2 apprentice topped the ridge.
"Attack!" screeched Shadowfang, leaping forward to take on the foremost warrior. He swiped at the LeopardClan tom's face, but the cat ducked under it and bit him on the shoulder. Shadowfang hissed in pain and rage, dealing his larger opponent a heavy blow to the head, causing red lines of blood to appear on the enemy cat's face. The LeopardClan cat snarled and tried to get the blood out of his eyes. Shadowfang hit him on the shoulder, bowling him over to expose the soft underbelly. Shadowfang sunk his teeth ruthlessly into the cat's throat as he clawed the underbelly. The LeopardClan warrior tried to rise, but fell, dead. Shadowfang turned.
Moonfur was circling a badly-wounded LeopardClan apprentice. She lept, biting hard on his back, but let go, letting him to limp desperately back the way the party had come. Wetfang had cornered the other apprentice, and had slashed him up badly. Wetfang raked his claws on the apprentice she-cat's face before letting her flee, howling in pain, to follow the other apprentice. Shortleaf had a grip on a LeopardClan warrior's neck and hung on, pulling fur and skin off in an effort to choke him. She let go and then quickly bit the back of his neck. Dazed and half-dead, the LeopardClan intruder fled. Twistedclaw was in trouble. He had been bitten in the leg and brought down by the remaining RiverClan warrior. He screeched in pain as the RiverClan she-cat raked his belly again and again. Raggedfur sprang to Twistedclaw's resue, leaping on the back of the LeopardClan intruder. Together the two JagurClan warriors managed to drive the she-cat after the rest of her Clan mates.
Shadowfang nodded to his warriors. Shadowfang's opponent, a black LeopardClan tom, was lying dead. Shadowfang shook his head in a mockery of sorrow. "What a shame a life had to be wasted like that. We'll put his body just inside LeopardClan's territory so they can bury him. Moonfur and Raggedfur, please do that." The two warriors nodded and picked up the body to do their deputy's bidding. A rustle of prey came to the tired JagurClan fighter. Shadowfang nodded to his remaining followers. "Get some fresh-kill and bring some for Moonfur, Raggedfur, and me. We'll eat, then head back to camp." The three warriors nodded and vanished into the forest. Shadowfang settled down to wait. Moonfur and Raggedfur arrived back at almost the same time as the hunters. They ate their meal in silence. Finally, Shadowfang spoke. "LeopardClan will not come here again. Back to camp, now." He turned back toward the ShadowClan camp, and he and his warriors vanished into the gathering gloom.
